Furniture Bank will have a donation truck stationed outside the IKEA STC exterior entrance from April 25–26, 10 am to 4 pm, providing a convenient way for the Scarborough community to give back.
Donate gently used, functional household items—your contributions will help furnish homes for families transitioning out of homelessness and displacement.
Accepted Items Include:
Large Furniture
– Sofas/couches
– Dining tables seating 4 – 8 people
– Credenzas
– Beds (disassembled)
– Dressers
– Armoires
– Desks
Small Furniture
– Tables seating fewer than 4 people
– End tables
– Bookshelves
– Chairs
– Floor lamps
– Nightstands
– Mirrors
– Box full of household goods (housewares, kitchen items, decor)
*Please note that electronics, office furniture, and mattresses are NOT accepted.
