Myuri Srikugan is a Tamil-Canadian digital artist based in Scarborough, and co-founder of the initiative Lens on the Ends. She uses various mediums to express personal and communal emotions, and create healing through shared experiences for both her and the audience. Her artistic journey began with a fascination for cameras, evolving into an immersion in digital image-making, with photography and videography serving as her primary storytelling tools. Fuelled by a commitment to represent her family and community, her passion for documentation blossomed, revealing a connection to her environment through digital storytelling. By offering perspectives and experiences distinct from mainstream norms, she aims to bridge communities that share a common yearning for narratives that are often sidelined, building relationships and understanding among them.
