IKEA x Furniture Bank Donation
Presented by IKEA STC
Furniture Bank will have a donation truck stationed outside the IKEA STC exterior entrance from April 25–26, 10 am to 4 pm, providing a convenient way for the Scarborough community to give back.
Donate gently used, functional household items—your contributions will help furnish homes for families transitioning out of homelessness and displacement.
Accepted Items Include:
Large Furniture
– Sofas/couches
– Dining tables seating 4 – 8 people
– Credenzas
– Beds (disassembled)
– Dressers
– Armoires
– Desks
Small Furniture
– Tables seating fewer than 4 people
– End tables
– Bookshelves
– Chairs
– Floor lamps
– Nightstands
– Mirrors
– Box full of household goods (housewares, kitchen items, decor)

Toronto Breakdance Competition
Join us at STC on May 17th and witness breakdancing at its finest!
Toronto Break Dance and STC proudly present Break TO @ STC 2025, a high-energy 2v2 Breaking Battle showcasing some of the best B-boys and B-girls as they battle for top prize.
This year’s competition features special guest judge Phil Wizard, Canadian Olympic gold medalist and member of Red Bull All Stars and United Rivals, who will bring his world-class expertise to the floor. Joining him on the judging panel are Bboy Burn and Tafiya (Floor Gangz / Kybalion). Keeping the energy high, DJ Yaks (Concrete Allstars) will be on the decks, while MC Switch B (FAM) will be hyping up the crowd.
The preliminary rounds begin at 1:00 PM sharp, leading up to an intense showdown between the top teams.
Don’t miss this epic breakdancing event, where some of the city’s most skilled dancers will battle it out in front of an all-star judging panel.
