Lunar New Year Celebration
Ring in the Year of the Horse with a lively weekend celebrating strength, movement, and tradition. Experience a special appearance by the God of Fortune, high-energy lion dances, and graceful Chinese folk dance performances.

A Lunar New Year of Wishes & Giving
In collaboration with Scarborough Health Network Foundation and Chinese Calligraphy Association of Canada
Celebrate Lunar New Year by sharing wishes of luck, health, and prosperity while giving back to the community.
Visitors are invited to make a donation in support of Scarborough Hospitals and have a personalized wish beautifully written by a calligrapher on a fai chun—a traditional red paper featuring auspicious messages and blessings for the year ahead.
Participation Options:
– $5 Donation – Receive a small fai chun, handwritten by a calligrapher to take home.
– $20+ Donation – Receive a large fai chun with the opportunity to write a personal wish, which will be displayed on the Prosperous Peach Blossom Trees. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt.
Each displayed message represents renewal, positivity, and shared intentions for the year ahead.
