Jahmeika “M3IKA” Reid is a Scarborough-raised artist of Jamaican and British roots whose work lives at the intersection of music, storytelling, and community. Grounded in Hip Hop culture and lived experience, her artistry creates space for truth, reflection, and growth. From traveling to the United Kingdom through Nando’s Music Exchange Program to touring across Canada alongside emerging Toronto artists, her journey reflects a commitment to creative expansion beyond borders. In 2023, she was invited to perform alongside Phoenix Pagliacci as part of MANIFESTO’s 50 Years of Hip Hop celebration and, most recently, was featured as an artist at Convergence Festival.
A proud alumnus of The Remix Project, M3IKA’s artistic path has been shaped by mentorship, artist development, and community-centered leadership. Beyond performance, she is the founder of GWM3, a nonprofit rooted in creativity where growth finds its voice through workshops, mentorship, and community-building initiatives. Through her work with Unity Charity, The Greenprint Network, and R.I.S.E., M3IKA continues to empower emerging voices and cultivate spaces where creativity, connection, and personal growth thrive.
