“A small island boy with big city dreams, I came to Scarborough hoping for opportunity and found purpose, community, and the courage to create beyond what I imagined possible.”
Stephaun Clarke is a Jamaican-born actor, reggae artist, film creative, and entrepreneur based in Scarborough, Toronto. His work explores themes of culture, identity, ambition, and resilience through storytelling and performance. Beyond performance, Stephaun is also developing Rising Yutes, a community-focused initiative aimed at empowering Black youth through performing arts, creativity, and mentorship opportunities.
Through acting, spoken word, and creative entrepreneurship, he hopes to represent a new generation of artists redefining what it means to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
