History has shown us that during times of adversity, ingenuity and kindness comes to the fore. Contributing measures of assistance and solutions helps us feel better and confirms that we are making a difference. TELUS has donated 10,000 smartphones to organizations and hospitals across the country to keep the country’s most vulnerable citizens safe and connected during this health emergency. To read more click here.

WALMART, SHOPPERS DRUG MART, REAL CANADIAN SUPERSTORE
The above retailers have implemented front of the line access to front line and all health care workers. Many of these retailers also have designated times for vulnerable citizens to shop.
Bite Beauty has launched a social campaign called #BITETheBlues to positively engage the Instagram community while giving back to healthcare workers. For each post shared with the hashtag #BITETheBlues, Bite Beauty will donate one of their beloved Agave+ Nighttime Lip Therapy treatments to the front line medical staff at heavily impacted hospitals across the country. Swiss Chalet in contributing to the fight against COVID-19 in a number of ways. In partnership with Canadian Trucking Alliance, Swiss Chalet is providing drivers with “home away from home”, with takeout and order-ahead pick up, restroom access, and a much-needed break. In addition, to show their appreciation for first responders and front-line health care workers, Swiss Chalet is distributing special pick up and delivery discounts to first responder and local health service organizations across the country.
